Established in 1992 by the voters in Macon County, Macon County Enhanced 9-1-1 is funded by a 3/8 of one percent sales tax. The agency is governed by an elected seven member board, that includes a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer.
Current Board Members The board of directors meet monthly on the last Wednesday of the month, with the exception of a combined November/December meeting with the date being set by the board in October.
