The Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System (MULES) is a statewide network, owned and operated by the Missouri State Highway Patrol.  The system makes centralized criminal justice data immediately available to law enforcement agencies.  Law Enforcement and Joint Communications Centers (dispatch agencies) connect to a mainframe computer through an extensive statewide network.  The mainframe operated by the state also connects to the FBI's NCIC system, allowing MULES users to access information nationwide.  This data contained in these systems provide lead information for law enforcement officers.

Macon County Enhanced 9-1-1 provides the MULES functions to local law enforcement agencies.  A few of these functions includes license checks, criminal history checks, and warrant and order of protection service (entry, confirm validation, removal, and updates).

Do to the sensitive nature of the information contained in MULES,  demonstrations will not be shown on line.
