Our mapping system is integrated into the 9-1-1 system, receiving information from the 9-1-1 database when a 9-1-1 call is received.  Conventional wire line callers are located on the map based on address location, and most cellular (wireless) callers are located based on coordinate location (longitude and latitude).  Rapid SOS is also integrated into the map which enhances the callers location information. The mapping system also tracks some of Macon and Knox Countys' emergency responders.   Our map has many additional tools available to the 9-1-1 dispatcher.
